“Every child carries a world of possibility. With love, guidance, and education, we help them discover just how far they can go.”
Curriculum
At Little Hearts Child Development Center, we believe that a strong educational foundation begins in the earliest years of a child’s life. Our classrooms use the Frog Street curriculum from infancy through Pre-K, with lessons and learning experiences carefully designed for each age group and stage of development.
Frog Street provides a research-based, developmentally appropriate approach that supports the whole child. Through purposeful play, hands-on exploration, music, movement, early literacy, language development, mathematics, science, creative arts, and social-emotional learning, children are encouraged to build confidence, communicate, solve problems, develop independence, and discover a lifelong love of learning.
Our teachers prepare structured, age-appropriate lesson plans that allow children to learn through both guided instruction and meaningful play. Consistent daily routines help children feel safe, understand expectations, and develop the skills needed to participate successfully in a classroom environment. At the same time, our educators recognize that every child is unique and may reach developmental milestones at their own individual pace.
In our infant, wobbler, and toddler classrooms, the curriculum focuses on secure relationships, communication, sensory exploration, motor development, early language, and social-emotional growth. As children progress into preschool and Pre-K, lessons become more advanced and support early reading and writing, vocabulary, number concepts, science, problem-solving, self-regulation, cooperation, and kindergarten readiness.
Our goal is not simply to complete a yearly program. We strive to ensure that every child receives the structure, encouragement, and meaningful educational experiences needed to grow socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and academically. By the time children complete our Pre-K program, we want them to feel confident, capable, curious, and prepared to begin their next educational journey.
At Little Hearts, education is more than teaching lessons—it is about creating a strong foundation, inspiring young minds, and helping every child recognize their ability to learn, grow, and succeed.
